Today is a big day for the Turrisi clan! All three of the boys will meet their new teachers for the new school year. Mitchell and Matthew are very excited, but Michael is trying not to think about it! He is going into the fourth grade and I think he is getting to the point where school is starting to get hard. Or at least he is afraid that it will be hard. He is a pretty smart kid when he pays attention, so the work should be "easy" if he is focused. That is where the trouble lies!

Matthew took a very long shower last night. He said he wanted to be "extra clean" for when he meets his teacher. He is nervous about the "testis" (as he calls "tests"). We have been gearing him up for the first day (Monday). Matthew gets very worked up over "events" like this, so we have to be ready for anything! The first grade can be scary.

Mitchell is about as easy going as it gets. He has been asking fo go to school everyday for the past two weeks or so. He will probably cry a bit becasue summer is over, but honestly, we usually do more things on the weekends during the school year anyway. The summers are so hot, it is hard to do things outside, and he loves being outside. We will run him by to meet his Pre-K teacher.

Summer Recap

As summer comes to an end, it makes sense to recap the things we did. Oddly enough, it is worth noting what we didn't do; we did not go to Disney as a family all summer! Ronni did get to go up with Joseph and the boys, but I was in Eastern Europe so I didn't get to go.

So, let's see, what did we do... <click here>
